Africa Bike Week returns to East London

The biggest free motorcycle event on the African continent, Africa Bike Week, will return to East London next year, transforming the city into a four-day Harley-Davidson® extravaganza from 26 to 29 April 2018.

Thousands of motorcycles from all over the country are expected to attend this great motorcycle event which has become a must do annual pilgrimage for Harley-Davidson® owners and other motorcycle enthusiasts.

Hordes of event visitors will get to experience the world of Harley-Davidson® and soak up its philosophy and lifestyle and one lucky person will be going home with a brand-new Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

2018 event visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy riding the latest model Harley- Davidson® motorcycles, while free demo rides and self-guided tours, including off-road tours, will be on offer to enjoy the outlying areas of East London.

Visitors will also be able experience the feeling of riding a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle on the riding simulator, better known as the “Jumpstart”.

Entertainment will exceed all previous events and being the 10th anniversary of Africa Bike Week, visitors will get to enjoy new-to-event bands as well as the best SA bands on offer.

Other entertainment will include world class stunt shows, trial bike shows, cage racing, Flight-Night motorcycle aerial displays, skills riding, extreme motor cross, BMX and Skateboard shows as well as the traditional mass ride, Custom-Bike Show, tattoo parlor and much more.

In the official EXPO area, the latest model Harley-Davidson® bikes will be displayed.

Participating Harley-Davidson® dealerships from South Africa will offer H-D Motor clothes® and Accessories. Additionally, the official Africa Bike Week T-shirt, pin and patch will be on sale.

Other non H-D merchandise will be available with a range of goods to keep all event visitors satisfied. R
